The request for advice is the initiation of a discussion around a topic that concerns one of the following thematic sections:

• Agri-food
• Creative Industries
• Agri-food sector
• Arts
• Cultural Tourism/Heritage
• Energy applications
• Microelectronics – advanced materials
• Information and communication technologies
• Tourism - culture

It can have an expiry date and for as long as it lasts it allows free discussion between citizens and bodies/companies.

Only agencies/companies can create advice requests.

Having logged in as a citizen on the platform, click on the "Ideas" link in the main menu. You will be taken to the page with the platform's currently active ideas. At the top right of the page you will find the "Create New Idea" button.

You will be taken to the idea creation page where you can enter the information about the idea:

• Idea title
• Sector
• Description
• Existing similar ideas: You can search and select similar ideas that already exist on the platform
• Problems - difficulties

After you save your idea it should be checked and made public by a platform administrator. This is done in order to filter out potentially malicious or irrelevant content.

The citizen-creator of the idea and the agency/company that "adopted" it are invited to communicate outside the platform and proceed with the collaboration and ultimately the realization of the object described in the idea. This platform aims to present, discuss and connect ideas with stakeholders.

"Adoption" of an idea is the interest and commitment of an entity or company to invest in order for the idea to materialize and become a reality. The innovation platform supports the innovation process up to the stage when an idea will be "adopted" by an institution or company. Once the idea is "adopted" the conversation, as well as further expressions of interest, are "locked".

The idea is a proposal for some innovative solution concerning one of the following thematic sections:

• Agri-food
• Creative industries
  • Agrifood sector
  • Fine Arts
  • Cultural Tourism/Heritage
• Energy applications
• Microelectronics – advanced materials
• Information and communication technologies
• Tourism - culture

An idea is created by a citizen and starts a conversation. All citizens as well as institutions/companies can participate in the discussion. The ultimate goal of an idea is to be adopted by an institution/company in order to be supported during its implementation.

For this purpose, a public body - company can express interest to adopt an idea. The creator of the idea can choose among the interested parties the one with whom he wishes to continue the collaboration in order to make the idea a reality. At this point the idea is locked.

As a public body or company you can do the following:

• Create a request for advice
• Participate in commenting on advice requests you've created
• Participate in commenting on requests for advice from other agencies/companies
• Express interest in order to "adopt" a citizen's idea

As a citizen you can do the following:

• Generate ideas
• Participate in commenting your ideas
• Participate in commenting on other citizens' ideas
• Participate in the discussion of requests for advice from agencies and/or companies.
• See which companies have expressed interest in "adopting" your ideas
• Accept the request to "adopt" your idea from an organization or company

The platform is open for registration by citizens or agencies and companies. Use the "Register/Login" link at the top right of the webpage. On the page that appears, select the "Create a new account" tab and after selecting "Individual" or "Company/Organization", fill in your details.
